Richard Alva Whitlock

6/18/1949 -2/7/2025

Rich worked as a meat cutter then went into concrete for many years, retiring from Kewit construction as a Superintendent. He travelled with Kewit from Hawaii, Alaska, Arizona, and back to his home state, Washington. He impacted so many lives along the way with his love of having a great time and cooking. He loved to ride on the dunes “Go fast or go home.” He loved working in his oyster beds and picking clams at their beach house on Treasure island, and spending time with his family and friends. He loved being a papa to all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren teaching the many tools of life as he did to his daughters.

He was born in Aberdeen , Wa. to Richard Sr. and Catherine Whitlock who proceeds him in death and has a sister Elizabeth (Betty)Whitlock.

Rich and his first wife Debbie had 3 girls, Angela Whitlock(Jim), Melissa Garret(Jarrad) and Rechelle Gardner(Jason). Years later he met the love of his life, his soul mate, Colleen Manning and her daughter Ennea Wysocki(Dave)

He has 10 grandchildren, Anthony, Bryana, Meeghan, Maryssa, Hunter, Avrie, Spencer, Kiarah, Trey, Allie, 5 great grandchildren Cole, Carly, Kanton, Grayson, and Amelya.

Rich had so many friends that he loved and they loved him. There was never a dull moment or an empty stomach when you were with him.

He created so many amazing memories. He was truly loved and will be missed by all.
